Welcome to our Photo Gallery of Military Static Displays!
This web site was created for the military aviation enthusiast, fine scale modeler, and other web surfers interested in military air shows. This photo gallery covers the military statics displayed at the 1998 Miramar Air Show which is one of the world's largest military air shows. This year the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) hosted the 44th Annual Miramar Air Show on August 15 and 16 in San Diego, California. Featured performances included the Blue Angels, the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF), and the F-14, F16, and F-117 along with many other military pilots.

Always a popular air show feature, the static displays offered the public a rare opportunity to view the military aircraft up close and to meet and talk with the pilots and ground crew who fly and maintain them. Here, you will find over 200 digital images of the aircraft on display at the 1998 MCAS Miramar Air Show. Close-up, detail shots are available for bomber, fighter, trainer, transport, and reconnaissance aircraft, as well as several military helicopters. Many intricacies of the aircraft, both inside and out, are shown in magnificant color.
